Senior Business Operations Specialist
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Business Operations Specialist to lead and optimize business processes across departments. In this strategic role, you will identify operational inefficiencies, develop scalable solutions, and support the execution of company-wide initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in business analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive operational excellence and support growth. Essential Job Functions: Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies, process improvements, and best practices across business units Analyze business performance data, identify trends, and recommend data-driven improvements Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic planning, goal setting, and execution tracking Oversee cross-functional projects and ensure alignment with organizational priorities and timelines Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor progress and support decision-making Evaluate current tools, systems, and workflows, and recommend upgrades or automation where appropriate Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and business operations staff Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and operational controls Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activities Act as a liaison between operations, finance, HR, IT, and other key departments Level of Supervision: Must be able to function independently Provide overview and general use training to all organization members and key leaders upon request Travel Required: 10% Education & Experience: Successful candidates must have a master's degree in a related field. Exceptional knowledge or understanding in strategic/operational planning, business process management, business operations, policy coordination, interpretation and dissemination, training, task management, information management, facility and space management, and related activities. Knowledge or understanding with ETMS2 or similar systems. Ability to produce fully actionable requirements documents packages for competitive contracts. Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification required. Ability to produce, maintain, and publish a variety of ad hoc and routine reports and publications at the executive level.
