Come join our team! At Homewatch CareGivers of Malden, we are looking for compassionate caregivers to provide quality in-home care during daytime hours. We have an immediate opening for HHAs and CNAs in the Melrose-Stoneham, MA area. The available shifts are flexible, 12-36hrs/week, with opportunities to pick up more hours if desired. Reliability is a must for this weekday position! This is a great opportunity for extra income while giving back to the community. Responsibilities

Occasionally drive client to local parks or errands around the neighborhood This position allows for a full scope of interaction with the client in their home Ability to work a consistent weekday shift Provide routine individualized care to the client Provide patient personal care and companionship Monitor and report changes in patient health status Perform light housekeeping including laundry and tidy patient's room Ability to document care provided Utilize excellent communication skills Benefits

HHA or CNA required and must be able to provide verification of any certifications held 3+ years of experience or equivalent required Previous experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team Must possess a valid driver's license Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent HHA or CNA certification Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields is a plus Positive, caring and patient personality Ability to make engaging conversation with client Ability to handle a light physical workload Good written and verbal communication skills in English Homewatch CareGivers offers the comprehensive home care services and we believe that exceptional training means a more rewarding experience for you and better care for clients.
