Accounts Receivable Accountant Position
The Accounts Receivable Accountant position will assist with monthly responsibilities for the Agency, including monthly entries, periodic reconciliations, and assisting with accounts receivable functions. To promote and support the mission, vision, and values of Heritage Christian Services, Inc. Pay for this position: $24 / hr - $27 / hr. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above range represents the organization's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Supports the A/R Manager in account analysis and follow-up related to billing issues. Supports the A/R Manager in monthly account reconciliations, filing of reports, etc. Follows up and resolves A/R billing issues and errors. Create monthly account journal entries as directed by the Accounts Receivable Manager. Oversee Compliance Inquiry filings to OMIG and other regulatory programs. Responsible for filing the agency's sales tax returns. Responsible for oversight of Community Allowance for HCS Residents. Assists with audits or other tasks from Resident Accounts team. Aids in special projects if needed to identify and improve revenue streams and reporting. Backup other AR team members if needed in case of vacations or other time off. Qualifications
Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance or related experience. Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills. Team player with excellent communication skills. Excellent Computer Skills, include advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
