As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to developing the hardware and software required for control equipment. We're looking for an engineer who can use their skills to design and develop operator interface modules, controls architecture, and other related electronic components. At Booz Allen, you'll use your engineering skills to transform S&T projects into system prototypes. Our team conducts research and development, test and evaluation, prototype development, and deployment sustainment support to client systems. That's why we need you, an engineer, with both hardware and software expertise, to help us design and develop innovative solutions and systems for DoD. On our team, you'll design, test, and analyze electronic equipment to establish operating controls. You Have: 3+ years of experience in software development Experience with programming languages, such as Python and C or C++, and with embedded systems Experience with low-level development, including interrupt handlers, device drivers, controlling peripherals, and reading and writing Flash memory Experience with digital and analog control systems, power electronics, electromagnetic interference (EMI) techniques, and radio frequency (RF) Experience conducting basic and applied research and learning new technologies Experience troubleshooting circuits Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and to analyze client requirements and translate those tasks into deliverables with little to no supervision Ability to work up to 5 days a week in indoor labs and outdoor test ranges Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering Nice If You Have: 5+ years of experience working across diverse computer architecture and operating systems Experience with signal generation, high powered RF systems, signal processing, bench and system level testing of electronics components, and RF system and platform integration Experience with high power microwave or radio frequency testing and evaluation Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
