Deputy Chief of Operations Division
The Bronx District Attorney's Office is seeking a well-qualified Executive Level Manager with demonstrated ability to serve the 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community in pursuing a safer Bronx through fair justice. The Operations Division is seeking an experienced attorney (15+ years) with outstanding management and strategic planning skills, as well as criminal law experience. Job Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the Operations Division's bureaus and units. Collaborate with other executives, the NYPD, and outside agencies to advance the BXDA's office's operational and strategic objectives. Evaluate staffing needs and performance for all staff and for all shifts. Produce and maintain databases and reports to monitor productivity of bureaus and units. Oversee special projects, as the need arises, dealing with all aspects of building facilities. Manage allocation of office space for over 1100 employees. Assist in the annual preparation of the District Attorney's Annual Budget request to the City Council and oversee all aspects of procurement and inventory management. Other duties as assigned or required by operational necessity or exigencies. Qualifications: A Juris Doctorate required. An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, economics, or business management is preferred. 15 years of criminal prosecution experience. Demonstrated experience in Strategic Planning (ie. staffing expansions/contractions). Must be able to effectively work under pressure and implement contingency plans Excellent reporting, presentation, and organizational skills.
