The Driller performs routine drilling, sampling, and well installation tasks as well as routine mechanical work necessary to maintain equipment in operating condition. Essential Job Accountabilities
Responsible for loading and mobilizing equipment to project site Responsible for performing and documenting drilling project tasks Perform preventative maintenance procedures and other duties as required Education
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent years of experience Certification
Mud School certification preferred State Drillers License Preferred Welding Certifications Preferred Must be able to attain a Class A CDL Work Experience
Prefer 3 to 5 years of experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Mechanical/Welding Aptitude Ability to operate all drilling associated equipment (backhoe, forklift, etc.) Ability to follow instructions and implement standard operating procedures Ability to direct self and 1 to 2 others Good oral and written communication skills Must travel and work outdoors Additional Requirements/Skills
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and use hands to operate a small hand tools. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
