Carpenter Position At Servpro Of Dane County
Servpro of Dane County is hiring a Carpenter! Responsibilities include interior trim installation, cabinet installation, window installation, occasional exterior work, job site cleanup, occasional demolition, maintaining a clean driving record, maintaining customer relationships, and addressing job site issues with the customer and project manager. Qualifications include experience in both rough and finish carpentry with an emphasis on the finish side, drywall skills a plus; ability to work independently and problem solve or as part of a team; maintaining a professional appearance and communicating effectively with customers and coworkers; excellent time management skills; taking great pride in your work and maintaining high levels of honesty and integrity; displaying excellent knowledge of building materials, residential and commercial structures and tools of the trade; ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law; and 2-4 years of carpentry experience. Physical and work environment requirements include exposure to extreme conditions such as heat and cold; ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance; ability to climb ladders, work at heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics); ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time; ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects; and ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
