We are willing to invest and develop these individuals into HVAC professionals throughout their careers. If you are looking to get into the HVAC field, apply today!Responsibilities: This technician performs field activities associated with supporting the installation, maintenance, and servicing of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systemsAssist with on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installationUses technical abilities to maintain systemsWorks in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfactionMust work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all timesFlexibility to work overtime, on-call, and weekends requiredTechnicians install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial and residential rooftop HVAC unitsWork at heightsLoad and unload tools/equipment from the work vanOther HVAC duties as requiredRequirements:High School diploma or GED equivalentValid Driver's License and acceptable driving recordTransport necessary equipment and tools to each job siteLifting occasionally up to 75lbsLifting to shoulder and overhead occasionally up to 25 lbsPush/pull wheeled cart up to 150 lbsAbility to climb a ladder up to roof heightTechnical aptitude to perform maintenance, service, and troubleshoot equipmentExcellent Customer Service SkillsGood Electrical and Mechanical Diagnostic SkillsAbility to complete repairs and required paperworkAbility to work independently and as part of a team as necessarySelf-motivated to complete assigned tasks within time constraintsDriven to succeed and able to work with minimum supervisionPeriodically 'on call' for service coverageHeartland Home Service is an equal opportunity employer.
