Transmission Line Engineer
Join our dynamic engineering team as a Transmission Line Engineer, where you'll lead critical design and approval efforts for overhead line (OHL) structural projects. This hybrid role is based in the Orlando, FL area, with flexibility for candidates relocating within six months of hire. What You'll Do
Lead approval activities for OHL structural engineering deliverables. Support business development and project acquisition efforts. Conduct safety-by-design assessments throughout the design lifecycle. Drive innovation in project solutions and design methodologies. Produce high-quality design deliverables aligned with engineering studies. Ensure compliance with project budgets, timelines, and quality standards. Stay current with technical procedures, codes, and specifications. What You Bring
5+ years of experience in transmission line engineering. Strong experience in structural and civil engineering. Proven expertise in high-voltage transmission line and foundation design. Familiarity with U.S. transmission line codes, standards, and regulations. Experience supporting construction for transmission projects. Technical Skills
Proficiency in: PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER MFAD/HFAD/LPILE AutoCAD and MicroStation Experience with steel lattice towers and other transmission structures. Comfortable working in distributed teams using tools like Microsoft Teams. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Prior experience with a Transmission & Distribution Utility or EPC/EPCM firm. Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in high-voltage design. Why Join?
