About This Opportunity
Schedule/Hours: 10-15 hours per week possible weekend duty This position is responsible for: Routine repairs and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and vehicles; performs minor plumbing and carpentry repair work and routine grounds keeping. Key Responsibilities: Routine building maintenance activities: minor plumbing repairs, minor carpentry work Drives truck to pick up materials and repair items as needed Assembles and moves office furniture Assist with special events when needed Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to perform strenuous work involving heavy lifting Ability to meet attendance requirements Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and climbing Work requires driving a vehicle and working outdoors daily with exposure to physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, heat, or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. High School Diploma or GED AND Knowledge of general building and grounds maintenance practices and procedures OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
