As a Security Officer in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a bustling retail distribution location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and vendors. Your primary responsibilities will include managing access control, verifying credentials, and providing a welcoming presence while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize computer or tablet systems to monitor entry and exit activity, respond to inquiries, and deliver outstanding customer service. This post requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving may be part of your duties. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Greet visitors, employees, and/or vendors in a professional manner at the front desk, providing customer service and assistance as needed. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help to deter unauthorized access or activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as required. Assist with emergency response activities at the front desk when appropriate, including alerting appropriate personnel and following emergency procedures. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age. Valid driver's license required in the state where the job is located. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
