Graduate Nurse (GN) Position

POSITION SUMMARY The Graduate Nurse (GN) is a graduate professional nurse who coordinates and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care according to Texas Board of Nursing. Qualifications

EDUCATION Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred. EXPERIENCE A minimum of one (1) nursing experience preferred. LICENSURE A graduate permit is allowed on a temporary basis and an RN license is required upon graduate permit expiration or within 6 months of hire. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. Must have current CPR certification upon hire.
