Our work depends on the Cyber Security Analyst Senior joining our team to work as Cyber Security Specialist II with a Secret Clearance, supporting a federal Security Operations Center (SOC). How a Cyber Security Analyst Senior will make an impact: Performs forensic analysis of digital information and gathers and handles evidence. Identifies network computer intrusion evidence and perpetrators Responsible for implementation and maintenance, such as platform and software patching, of operating system and related software in support of cyber related activities. Establishes and implements standards for computer operations, consistent with documented customer cyber policies, for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters. Monitors system resources, aids in the design, and implements backup and recovery processes, and troubleshoots system issues and outages. Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries. Automates processes to streamline monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance capabilities. Generally considered a specialist in area of assignment. May lead individuals assisting in the work. What you'll need to succeed: Education: BA/BS Degree (or three (3) years of additional experience in lieu of degree) Required Experience: seven (7+) years of related experience Security Clearance Level: a current Secret clearance is required. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
