As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and driven Solidworks PDM admin to join our team and own a key system that drives/enables the engineering work flow. Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced PDM Administrator to own the global workflow, configuration, documentation and user management within the engineering organization. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, chemists and technicians to drive towards solutions that scale. Responsibilities: System Setup and Configuration:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining the SOLIDWORKS PDM software and vaults. User Management:

Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the PDM system. Workflow Management:

Creating, modifying, and managing workflows to ensure efficient data management processes. Data Management:

Ensuring data integrity, implementing data management policies, and optimizing data storage and retrieval. Troubleshooting and Support:

Providing technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, and resolving support tickets. Training and Documentation:

Developing training materials, conducting user training, and creating comprehensive system documentation. Technical writing to facilitate onboarding new employees and scaling of capabilities. Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborating with other teams (e.g., engineering, IT, quality assurance) to ensure data integrity and process optimization. System Optimization:

Identifying opportunities to improve the PDM system, automate tasks, and enhance user productivity. Compliance:

Ensuring compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: SolidWorks PDM Expertise:

Proven experience with SOLIDWORKS PDM administration, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Technical Proficiency:

Strong understanding of PDM concepts, workflows, data management principles, and best practices. Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills:

Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, analyze problems, and implement effective solutions. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with users and collaborating with other teams. Training and Support Skills:

Ability to develop and deliver training materials and provide effective user support. Scripting Skills (Optional):

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automating tasks within the PDM system. Manufacturing or Engineering Experience:

Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or product development environment.
