Partner with the best As a Work Supervisor-Aero, you'll instruct and provide guidance to operating staff in production scheduling. You will assess and report results of production runs and may recommend adjustments to product batches or manufacturing processes in order to maintain quality standards. You will ensure the cleanness of the work areas and equipment. You will inform the operation leader of any process problems or delays and recommend solutions. You will monitor production statistics to ensure accuracy. You will serve as shift supervisor in the absence of the operation leader. You will train less senior members of the department and serve as a role model for safety, quality, housekeeping and commitment. As a Work Supervisor-Aero, you will be responsible for: Reading and interpreting documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrating leadership and personal discipline in performing all assigned tasks to ensure product quality and safe operation for all employees. Knowledge of products and understanding of QC analysis to recommend adjustments. Knowledge of required transactions performed in manufacturing database. Ability to operate all plant equipment. Ability to perform non-technical skills at a high level within a specific area of expertise. Working knowledge of geometric dimensions and tolerances. Ability to apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry. Coordinate activities of the hourly teams within the cell Develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily production plan. Manage people presence in terms of Vacation, Shift Change and Hours absence Achieve the highest safety levels in the production line. Guarantee performance KPI target: CoQ, HSE, on-time delivery, DL hours development. Manage training and operator skills in order to respond to workload needs Collaborate with other functions (i.e. Engineering, Sourcing, Quality) on resolution of nonconformity. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Production Operations. Proven analytical and organizational ability. Effective problem identification and solution skills. Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact. Demonstrate intermediate understanding of Manual Lathe, CNC lathe, and VTLs. Experience in Supporting Machining and Welding Department based on customer needs, Cases, Gas components, and Aero components. Experience in ability to operate Manual machines as well as CNC machines, Gas turbine repairs (HSPT, GE10's, Fr3, Fr5, Fr6, and F7) Rotors and component machining and LM2500 components is a big plus.
