The Division of Career & Technical Education is recruiting for an Adjunct Instructor to teach Business Computer Applications beginning in Fall 2024. Classes will be available both online and face-to-face. Salary based on instructional units (one instructional unit is equivalent to 16 contact hours per semester). $655.67/per instructional unit in the Fall/Spring/Summer. Duties & Responsibilities
Provide instruction to students in a meaningful classroom and/or laboratory learning environment. Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's Degree in Computer Science or Master's Degree in Business Administration with demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline or Master's Degree with a minimum of 18 hours in any combination of qualifying fields as shown below. (unofficial transcripts are required for all graduate level work). Computer Engineering Computer Information Technology Computer Programming Computer Science Information Systems Management Information Systems Network Security Cybersecurity For applicants interested in teaching online classes, experience with Canvas is preferred. A demonstrated commitment to serving a diverse array of students, to the community college mission, and to academic excellence. College teaching experience preferred.
