As a Product Certification Specialist your key area of responsibility will be managing global hardware certification projects, driving Geotab's product expansion, ensuring appropriate certifications are obtained in target regions, and complying with testing standards and regional regulations. You will need to work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the proper processes and project management are in place to achieve compliance and certification. To be successful in this role you will be skilled in preparing, reviewing and maintaining accurate technical files, declarations, and certification records for internal use and audits. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with operations, engineering, legal, quality, and external certification bodies across regions. How You'll Make An Impact

Manage global hardware certification projects across multiple markets (e.g., Federal Communications Commission (FCC), conformit europenne (CE)) and industries (e.g., PTCRB, Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG)) and Carriers (e.g., AT&T, T-Mobile, Telus, Telefonica), ensuring timely product launches and compliance with international regulatory standards. Develop product certification go-to-market plans during the development phase of new product programs. Coordinate and action internal tasks (e.g., test sample preparation, program reporting, internal documentation) to support ongoing and future certification efforts. Review technical test reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards and minimum requirements. Execute Carrier testing according to established test plans, including off-site testing in the United States. Support pre-certification design and troubleshooting efforts by liaising with hardware and software teams and providing technical advice. Assist in maintaining a global product roadmap by way of providing certification related information (timelines, quotes, validity periods, etc.). Research and stay abreast of applicable and potential regulations. Support Geotab global strategic initiatives, including duties performed by the Global Expansion team (analyze business opportunities against Geotab criteria, coordinate with internal stakeholders, facilitate process steps cross-departmentally, foster and apply process improvement strategies). What You'll Bring To The Role

Diploma/Degree specialization in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science. Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience in related field may be substituted. 3-5 years in Project/product management experience in a technology organization. 3-5 years Experience using various programming languages (e.g. SQL, C#, JavaScript Google BigQuery). Experience in Radio Frequency (RF)/wireless industry an asset. Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
