System Administrator Position At Harmonytech Inc.
HarmonyTech Inc. is hiring an experienced System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our on-premises and cloud-based IT environments. In this critical role, the System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of enterprise infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft ecosystems, virtualization technologies, and cloud integration. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in managing hybrid environments, demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting complex system issues, and have a proactive approach to infrastructure enhancement and automation. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of supporting business continuity, driving operational efficiencies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices across our IT landscape. Position is in Washington D.C. and requires U.S. Citizenship or Green Card. Responsibilities:
Administer Microsoft 365, Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and VMware platforms. Manage cloud-based solutions and hybrid IT infrastructure. Implement enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply security hardening measures. Support configuration management and cloud migration efforts. Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in system administration roles. Proficiency with Microsoft cloud services, Intune, and security best practices. Strong knowledge of Active Directory, group policy, and system monitoring tools. Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent. Experience with enterprise-level backup and disaster recovery solutions. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP or NIST. Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
