Data Architect And Data Modeling Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect and Data Modeling Lead to join our team in order to deliver on major business priorities within US Personal Banking and Wealth Data platforms. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines within and across our applications. You will lead a team of talented engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship while ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of data technologies, strong leadership skills, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities:
Lead the definition and ongoing management of target data architecture for US Personal Banking and Wealth information. Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models that meet business requirements. Design and implement data warehouses and data lakes to support business intelligence and analytics. Define and enforce data quality standards, access controls, and security protocols. Perform analysis of data quality issues and deliver metrics reporting. Adopt CDGP 8.0 process and oversee implementation activities and ensure ongoing alignment to the EDO standards. Define and maintain the inventory of data attributes across US Personal Banking and Wealth management platforms. Define and maintain common data definitions and taxonomies. Research and recommend appropriate data management technologies and tools. Work in conjunction with information owners and technology partners to define and implement the roadmap. Prepare materials for Monthly Operating Reviews (MORs), Portfolio Reviews, Horizontal meetings, Town Halls and Staff Meetings. Support Managers with status reports and presentation content. Guide data analysis and reporting processes that include collection from multiple sources. Qualifications:
8-10 years experience in analyzing and defining Banking and Wealth data structures and architecture. Expertise in various data modeling techniques, including relational, dimensional, and NoSQL. Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehouse design and implementation. Extensive knowledge of various DBMS platforms, such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL. Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases. Experience design reports and dashboards created by various BI tools and technologies including Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, etc. Understanding of data governance principles and best practices. Demonstrated influencing, facilitation and partnering skills. Track record of interfacing with and presenting results to senior management. Analytical, flexible, team-oriented and have good interpersonal/communication skills. Education:
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent field.
