Night Shift 5pm-5am Rotating Pay: $25.63/hr Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our night shift team on a 4x4 schedule from 5pm to 5am. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure compliance with quality standards and adherence to established protocols. Responsibilities
Perform quality checks to ensure product compliance. Manage rework during shifts and retain out-of-specification products. Record all pertinent information for food safety investigations. Manage shift chargebacks effectively. Identify root causes for non-conforming products. Participate and facilitate Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) audits. Act as a key personnel member in the quality and food safety program. Participate in all plant safety initiatives. Operate forklifts as needed. Review and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and control limits. Essential Skills
Experience with quality inspection tools such as calipers and micrometers. Proficiency in computer operations and Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of quality control, assurance, and visual inspection processes. Ability to interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work overtime as required. Capability to learn gauges and maintain them. Forklift operation skills. Experience supporting QA systems. At least one year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Basic math skills. Demonstrated decision-making skills. GED or High School Diploma preferred. Previous experience in roles related to Quality Assurance or Quality Control. Previous food manufacturing experience. Knowledge of GMPs and 6S training. Why Work Here?

Located in Hanover, PA, our plant manufactures 3-piece steel cans for the food industry across three shifts. A new 2-piece food can line is being added, expanding our ability to serve customers with a diverse mix of packaging products. Situated near Gettysburg PA, York PA, and the Maryland border, the plant offers convenient access to major regions. Pay and Benefits
