Ancillary Certification Instructor, PRN

Provides ancillary instruction for certification courses and courses to enhance organizational knowledge and skill. This instructor will have a focus on Pediatric and Neonatal certifications as a course director for both PALS and NRP. Prepares and delivers instruction to students. Actively pursues and participates in professional development activities to enhance skills in various modes of instruction and knowledge of learning. Administers written and physical skills related assignments. Maintains an active classroom environment conducive to student learning and success. Evaluates student performance and learning per governing certification body guidelines. Provides regular feedback and assigns appropriate grades. Reports to work punctually and regularly. Completes all required training and professional development sessions provided by CRMC. Desired Skills: Knowledge and expertise of skills necessary for areas of specialty instruction Strong organization and communication skills Excellent presentation, facilitation and computer technology skills Must possess critical thinking skills with ability to prioritize needs rapidly Ability to take initiative, problem solve and improve processes required Here is What You Need: Minimum of a current Wyoming Registered Nurse License or enhanced Nurse Licensure (eNLC) upon start date Associate's or higher from an accredited school of nursing Cheyenne Regional AHA RQI within 14 calendar days of start date Nice to Have: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Two years teaching experience in a hospital or medical center based organization About Cheyenne Regional: Cheyenne Regional Medical Center was founded in 1867 as a tent hospital by the Union Pacific Railroad to treat workers injured while building the transcontinental railroad.
