Job description

Job Summary As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, products, and equipment between our facilities, suppliers, and customers in a timely and safe manner. We deliver all over California and Nevada (may have overnight stays from time to time). Home every weekend. Duties/Responsibilities:
Safely operate class A and B trucks with forklifts on back. Knuckle boom operations a plus! Transport materials, products, and equipment to and from specified locations. Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient transportation. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Ensure proper handling and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns. Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, safety, and reporting. May also be required to drive a regularly scheduled route and deliver to customers as needed. Will require unloading and handling materials by hand to ensure safe and timely deliveries. Other duties assigned by management Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety. Load securement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education and Experience:
Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience with a 10 and 13-speed transmission. (No automatic recreations) Experience with a Moffet plus. Minimum of 2 years experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and driving Must be able to frequently lift up to 75lbs $1500 SIGN ON BONUS after 6 months of employment.
