Histology Supervisor

Location: Keizer, OR Status: Full time, benefit eligible (medical, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, 401(k) matching) Schedule: Day shift, no weekends Compensation: $38$45/hour (based on experience, credentials, and shift responsibilities) About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Histology Supervisor to lead a high-performing histology team in a busy pathology lab environment. This role is perfect for someone with strong technical skills, leadership ability, and a passion for quality assurance in histological services. What Youll Do
Oversee day-to-day histology lab operations including workflow, staffing, and quality control
Supervise, coach, and evaluate histotechnologists and lab assistants
Perform complex histological procedures including embedding, microtomy, special stains, and IHC
Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and OSHA standards
Manage laboratory inventory, equipment maintenance, and documentation
Collaborate with pathologists and lab leadership to support patient care and operational goals
What Were Looking For
HT or HTL (ASCP) certification required
Minimum 3 years of histology experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role
Strong understanding of laboratory regulations, QC/QA standards, and safety protocols
Ability to manage workflows and lead staff in a fast-paced environment
Experience with IHC and special stains preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
