Heavy Assembly Technician
As a Heavy Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for mechanical assembly in the commercial filter department. This role involves reading schematics, blueprints, utilizing a variety of hand and power tools, and assembling industrial water filters. You must be capable of lifting over 50 pounds and performing tasks efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly in the commercial filter department. Read and interpret basic schematics. Utilize hand tools such as wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, wire strippers, cutters, and pliers. Work efficiently on an assembly line. Lift and handle materials weighing over 50 pounds. Essential Skills
Ability to read and follow basic schematics. Strong attention to detail. Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing. Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 hours. Additional Skills & Qualifications

The work involves assembling commercial filters, which can take up to 4 hours to complete. You should be comfortable working independently and performing material handling duties, including lifting up to 40 pounds. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roselle, Illinois. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
