Pre-K Teacher
As a Pre-K Teacher at Celebree School, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 45 years old. You will foster each child's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development, preparing them for kindergarten and lifelong learning. This role requires a passion for early childhood education, strong classroom management skills, and a commitment to Celebree's mission of protecting, educating, and nurturing children. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Celebree's curriculum and state standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes exploration and discovery. Observe and assess children's development and maintain accurate progress records. Communicate regularly and effectively with parents/guardians about their child's progress and classroom activities. Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Support social-emotional learning and promote positive behavior through guidance and modeling. Maintain a clean and organized classroom and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events. Collaborate with co-teachers and school leadership to meet the needs of each child. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required). Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred). Prior experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
