Service Mechanic

M - F 7am - 3:30pm $28 plus depending on experience Job Description

As a Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, repairing, and replacing damaged or worn parts for a variety of utility equipment manufacturers. Your expertise in hydraulics and electrical service will be crucial in hydraulic fluid power troubleshooting and pneumatic tool troubleshooting. You will fit bearings and overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, diagnose faults using pressure gauges, flow test equipment, and calibration devices, and rebuild gearboxes, outriggers, and boom lift cylinders. Initial inspections, diagnostics, and parts requisition will be part of your regular duties, along with dismantling and reassembling heavy equipment using appropriate tools. Testing mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly, and performing routine maintenance tasks on equipment and vehicles will also be expected. Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, repair, and replace damaged or worn parts for utility equipment. Work with hydraulics and electrical service. Troubleshoot hydraulic fluid power and pneumatic tools. Electrical, hydraulics, diesel, and trailer repair expertise. 3+ years of service or trailer mechanic experience. Vocational Technical School or Military Wheeled Mechanic or related training. Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
