CNC Mill And Lathe Machinist Openings
The CNC Mill and Lathe Machinists will independently set up and operate 2, 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machines along with conventional machines to produce complex aerospace parts. This role demands advanced cross-training flexibility and experience with most, if not all, automated CNC machines and their operational capabilities. Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines to produce complex aerospace parts. Conduct pre-operational inspections. Read and interpret blueprints, manuals, and dispatch specifications to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Perform complex setups independently on multiple machines, including checking or changing chucking jaws, tools, and rotating offsets. Operate multiple machines, including CNC and conventional lathes as required. Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years CNC machining experience. Preferably 3 years of conventional machining experience. Experience with setup and operation of manual and CNC machines. Proficiency in working with metals such as stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium. Capability to read and understand blueprints. Experience with 2, 3, 4, or 5 axis machining, with preference for 2 or 5 axis. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with specific equipment such as Okuma, Hitachi Seiki, and other mills. Knowledge of controls such as Mazatrol, Okuma, and Fanuc. Why Work Here?
