Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to maintenance support, minimizing equipment downtime, and contributing to the development of standard work processes. Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and modify mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical equipment and facility systems. Follow drawings and instructions to plan and layout details. Troubleshoot complex equipment issues with or without reference manuals to minimize equipment downtime. Provide proactive maintenance support to area leads to support daily production requirements. Contribute to the development of standard work processes. Process necessary administrative items such as work orders, purchase orders, and documentation notes. Set-up and operate machine tool equipment including basic operation of production equipment such as drill press, saws, and hand tools. Utilize electrical knowledge to troubleshoot motors and controls. Collaborate with other maintenance team members to achieve team goals and objectives. Perform basic carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, and plumbing tasks. Utilize a wide variety of hand and portable power tools. Essential Skills
Preventive maintenance and troubleshooting skills. Experience with equipment maintenance and repair. Basic electrical, mechanical, and service skills. Ability to read mechanical/electrical blueprints and shop sketches (PLC experience preferred). Experience in carpentry, fabrication, welding, and pipe fitting. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Minimum of 3 years' experience, or 5+ years of industrial equipment maintenance with machining experience. Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics. In-depth knowledge and prior use of Lock-Out Tag-Out procedures. Effective problem-solving and prioritization skills. Ability to obtain in-house certification for forklift, scissor lift, and overhead cranes and lifts. Advanced knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Ability to diagnose mechanical issues such as ball screws, drives and drive motors, clutches, and spindle bearings. High level of motivation and initiative to work independently. Why Work Here?
