We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Government Affairs Administrative Assistant to join our team in Washington DC. This role will provide comprehensive administrative support to our government affairs department, playing a crucial role in the smooth operation of our advocacy efforts. Responsibilities: Manage and process expense reports accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for government affairs staff. Scheduling and attending events, political fundraisers, managing logistics and tracking contributions. Assist with regulatory compliance, including the preparation and submission of filings to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Maintain organized records and databases related to government affairs activities. Prepare presentations, reports, and other documents as needed. Provide general administrative support to the government affairs team. Highly Desired Qualifications: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated discretion and ability to handle confidential information Experience with Political Action Committee (PAC) activities is a plus Target Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $95,000 USD Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate. Basic Requirements: 3-5+ years of experience in a political & legislative aid or administrative support role, preferably within a government affairs, political, or legal setting Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
