Maintenance Technician

Under general supervision, perform advanced and expert-level diagnoses, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and reconditioning tasks while adhering to company policies and ensuring safety. Responsibilities

Comply with all safety standards including Lock Out, Electrical Arc Flash, Fall Protection, and others. Provide safe and timely mechanical and electrical support. Interpret and work from complicated drawings, blueprints, worksheets, equipment manuals, and other related documents. Conduct advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of manufacturing and facility equipment. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Perform various hot work tasks and order supplies and repair items as necessary. Set up and operate equipment such as lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. Work at heights of 10'-0" or more and in tight spaces. Troubleshoot low voltage PLCs. Utilize trade math with drawings and precision measuring instruments. Maintain office PC skills (Excel) and specific software (CMMS) involving technical skills knowledge. Possess advanced knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with general knowledge of electrical, VFD, and PLC systems. Understand the spare part inventory process. Work independently and collaborate across a functional team environment. Essential Skills

This position requires candidates to work on-site at our manufacturing facility. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 5:30 am to 4:30 pm, with additional overtime as required. Additional Friday or weekend work may be necessary. The role involves working at heights and in tight spaces. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Las Vegas, Nevada. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.05 - $32.05/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
