Paralegal Position
We are looking for experienced Paralegals to join a thriving plaintiff personal injury law firm in New York, New York. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced legal environment, supporting attorneys with key aspects of case management and litigation. Candidates should bring strong organizational skills and a commitment to excellence in legal support. Spanish bilingual highly preferred. Responsibilities: Handle a high-volume caseload efficiently, ensuring all deadlines and client needs are met. Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence. Conduct E-filing processes accurately and in compliance with court requirements. Utilize case management software to organize and track case details and progress. Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including document review and assembling trial binders. Coordinate and manage discovery processes, including gathering and organizing relevant documents. Provide support during civil litigation tasks, including scheduling depositions and preparing exhibits. Maintain strong communication with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information. Ensure all legal documents and case files are maintained with precision and confidentiality. Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience with Plaintiffs Personal Injury Law. Proficiency in case management software and E-filing systems, specifically NYSCEF. Spanish bilingual strongly preferred. Experience managing discovery processes and preparing related documentation. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
