Maintenance Technician - St Joseph / Elwood Area

The Maintenance Technician will perform essential maintenance duties within a facility adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). High standards of safety, quality, and good documentation practices are imperative. The role demands comfort in performing job duties within a clean room environment, which requires full gowning protocols when entering production areas. Responsibilities

Maintain and operate facility equipment, including boilers, air handling units, exhaust fans, dust collectors, purified water systems, air compressors, air dryers, wastewater treatment systems, refrigerators, and plumbing fixtures. Support production by maintaining equipment such as tanks, mixers, reactors, pumps, filters, washers, sterilizers, filling equipment, and solids processing equipment. Assist in the construction and validation of a cGMP manufacturing facility. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment as directed by the maintenance management system. Train on all applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) per Quality Assurance guidelines. Be fully trained in occupational safety and health programs, including lock out tag out, confined space, and fall protection. Essential Skills

High School diploma or GED Broad knowledge of carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance and repair Willingness to obtain an EPA refrigerant certification Ability to operate a forklift and personnel lift Experience in pharmaceutical plant maintenance and calibration Experience with PLC troubleshooting, programming, and wiring Experience with GMP manufacturing maintenance and documentation Previous industrial plant safety training Experience with utilizing a CMMS Why Work Here?

This is a Contract position based out of Elwood, Kansas. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
