Learning Assistants (LA) Position
The Eberly College of Science, Department of Biology, is looking to hire Learning Assistants (LA) to provide support to Biology courses overseen by Teaching Faculty during the 2025-2026 academic year. This position will be supervised by Lyndsay Rathbun. The LA will help faculty organize coursework, explain biology concepts to students, and hold office hours and/or review sessions. Applications must be submitted electronically, and at a minimum must include the completed online application form. Preference will be given to full-time registered Penn State students who have successfully completed the course for which they will be assisting WC BIOL 161 or WC BIOL 163. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and reviewed as the need arises. Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
