Insight Global is looking for a QA Analyst and Tester 1. This person will join a dynamic experimentation program where data scientists, engineers, developers, and QA analysts collaborate to empower teams to safely release product changes and uncover actionable insights. As a Quality Assurance Analyst I, youll play a key role in validating infrastructure and software solutions within an internal experimentation platform.Youll be part of the Distillery team, which supports a bespoke, enterprise-level experimentation and configuration management platform. This includes enabling A/B testing, progressive deployments, and JSON configuration changes through a web-based GUI and supporting services.Responsibilities Breakdown:Testing (50%)Develop, maintain, and execute test plans and casesPerform functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testingMaintain and execute automated tests; analyze and report resultsConfigure monitoring and alerting for infrastructure and deploymentsDevelopment Support (30%)Identify, report, and track defectsReview system specifications for testing coverageTranslate acceptance criteria into test casesValidate software releasesSupport (20%)Update system documentation and release notesMonitor alerts, logs, and dashboardsProvide outage support and user support rotationWe are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Required Skills & Experience2+ years in a software testing roleExperience with test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber)Basic knowledge of modern programming languages (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python)Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Pytest)Experience testing full stack distributed systemsHands-on experience with JavaScript testing frameworksProficiency with API testing tools (e.g., Postman)Understanding of Agile, CI/CD, containerization, GraphQL, microservices, and moreBachelors degree in a related field Nice to Have Skills & ExperienceAWS Certified Cloud PractitionerProfessional experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and PythonExperience with Rancher, Kubernetes, GitLab, and Postman Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
