Familiarity with Federal, State, and local regulations; knowledge of environmental regulatory processes (e.g., National Environmental Policy Act, Clean Water Act Sections 404/401 permitting, Endangered Species Act Section 7 consultation, Energy Facility Siting Council site certification, and/or Oregon Department of State Lands removal-fill permitting). Strong writing skills and experience preparing technical reports and/or permit application packages. Demonstrated success as both a self-starter and team player. Ability to travel or be in the field for extended periods. The ability to hike up to 10 miles per day occasionally working in rough terrain and challenging weather conditions. Commitment to workplace safety and compliance with health and safety policies. Ideally, you'll also have: Experience and interest in plant taxonomy and identification. Experience in focused wildlife surveys (nesting birds, raptors including Northern Spotted Owl, small mammals). Experience assisting with aquatic resource surveys and/or wetland delineations. Permitting experience in Oregon, Washington, and/or California. Cescl Certification. At Jacobs, we're partnering across the globe to create the best project outcomes by maximizing the design, digital technology, and support capabilities of our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates.
