Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking board-certified Pediatricians to join our team at OhioHealth Obleness Hospital in Athens, OH on a per diem basis to provide coverage of the Newborn Nursery. Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is looking for Pediatricians to: Provide newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists - No pediatric floor coverage Round 24 hours plus offsite call Perform circs Provide expert pediatric consultations to the emergency department, offering timely assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans for pediatric patients Work closely with a team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects, contributing to the enhancement of patient care outcomes and best practices Exchange ideas and best practices with a large network of Pediatrix providers, including over 400 NICUs and several thousand providers About the Area Ohio might be the greatest hits for a single state in the USA. Board Certified in Pediatrics required Minimum of 1 year post-residency experience required Active OH License or IMLC license preferred Recent clinical experience required (within the last 12 months) Benefits and Compensation
Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
