Lab Technician (Part-Time)
CarePath Injury Centers of Pennsylvania is a specialized accident and injury treatment center serving patients with workers' compensation and motor vehicle accident injuries. We are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and are currently seeking a part-time Lab Technician to support our clinical operations in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The Lab Technician will play a vital role in supporting daily operations by conducting urine drug screen (UDS) collections, processing and logging samples, and maintaining accurate records within the electronic health record (EHR) system. While prior lab experience is required, on-site training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a clinical environment and is looking for full-time, Mon-Fri hours. Key Responsibilities: Calibrate and maintain lab equipment according to protocols Collect and process urine drug screen (UDS) specimens daily Accurately log collections and test results Upload and document lab results in the EHR system Ensure proper specimen handling and chain-of-custody procedures Maintain cleanliness, compliance, and safety in the lab environment Qualifications: Prior laboratory experience, or related studies, required (UDS experience preferred) Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols Basic computer skills and familiarity with EHR systems Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Reliable, professional, and discreet with confidential information Organized, effective time-management Benefits of Working With Us: Flexible weekday schedule (no weekends) Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization focused on patient care CarePath Injury Centers is an equal opportunity employer.
