an innovative global music company that retains the creative spirit of a nimble independent. Your role: The Senior FI Analyst will report to the Manager (US), Revenue Processing. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, managing the initial accounting and subsequent analysis of the financial postings generated by the new revenue processing system. Here you'll get to: Gain an understanding of Warner Music Group's internal transfer pricing policies and associated accounting entries relating to revenue, royalties and management fees. Validate the accuracy of the new financial postings. Review and approve revenue transactions in Vistex in a timely manner. Maintenance and management of data tables including cross reference tables within SAP/Vistex, utilized by the system to automatically post accounting entries. Review all balance sheet accounts postings, and work with our Order-to-cash and tax teams to ensure that the system generated accounting documents are in line with the requirements of local legislation. Supporting line manager with revenue recognition including advances, minimum guarantees, accruals and breakage. Maintain strong relationships with finance personnel of affiliates/business units, the GBS OTC, & RTR teams as well as other divisions within WMG, working with each of these teams to ensure a cohesive output. Promote a culture of continuous improvement. Other ad-hoc tasks as defined by line manager. About you: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field. 24 years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A, ideally within media, tech, or music. CPA qualification. Strong Excel skills; familiarity with accounting and royalty systems a plus. Detail-oriented with strong communication and presentation skills. Passion for music and understanding of the digital music landscape. Experience working in a SOX controlled environment preferred. Salary Range $80,000 to $90,000 Annually Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
