CMM Programmer and Metrology Technician
As a Metrology Technician, you will play a vital role in providing quality inspection skills to support the company in achieving optimal levels of safety, quality, productivity, and delivery, ensuring both internal and external customer success. You will be responsible for developing, qualifying, and maintaining CMM programs and operating CMMs for First Piece Inspection and Production Approval. Your expertise in reading drawings to determine specifications and tolerances for a variety of components will be essential in ensuring containment activities take place when discrepancies are identified. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain CMM programs using Polyworks or Calypso, transitioning parts from blueprint stage to scanned models. Operate CMMs for First Piece Inspection and Production Approval. Read drawings to determine specifications and tolerances for components. Ensure containment activities occur when discrepancies are identified. Review and refine data collection requirements according to customer drawings and PPAP requirements. Participate in corrective action and preventive action processes. Conduct Gage R & R studies. Utilize various inspection tools to complete dimensional reports. Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Essential Skills
CMM programming experience, preferably 5 years. Proficiency in FARO Arm, Polyworks, Calypso, GD&T. Strong computer skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Experience in calibration and inspection. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in automotive, medical device, or aerospace industries. Background in GD&T-based companies and familiarity with Polyworks software. Experience exceeding goals and aligning with company values. Proficiency in programming and inspection. Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
