Inventory And Quality Supervisor
The Inventory And Quality Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire inventory management system, ensuring quality standards are met across all products, optimizing stock levels, and leading strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency, while collaborating with various departments to maintain quality control and cost effectiveness throughout the supply chain. Essential Duties & Job Functions: Develop and execute comprehensive inventory and quality strategies aligned with company goals, including demand forecasting, stock level optimization, and quality control measures. Set and track performance metrics for inventory accuracy, quality standards, and cost reduction initiatives. Lead, mentor, and manage the inventory and quality control team to ensure effective performance and professional development. Oversee inventory levels across all product lines to prevent stockouts and reduce excess. Manage inventory systems, including automated tracking and cycle counting procedures. Investigate and address quality issues; implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction. Optimize warehouse operations, including layout, picking, packing, and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies regarding inventory and quality management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment and cost-effective supply chain practices. Conduct employee performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Support strategic labor planning to ensure adequate staffing and resource allocation across the facility. Monitor and refine policies, procedures, and reporting processes to support operational effectiveness. Ensure the timely preparation of accurate reports related to inventory, quality, and team performance. Oversee supply alignment with production demands to maintain fulfillment efficiency. Job Qualifications Mandatory: Strong warehouse background. Able to demonstrate a willingness to keep learning and improving. High level of energy and drive to work with the warehouse employees. Excellent people and communication skills to be able to work with differing personalities. Maintain neat, clean and orderly warehouse appearance. Ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed. Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures and guidelines. Ensure proper and full-time use of any Personal Protective Equipment. Operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment. Operates any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required. Ensure that the work area is left clean and tidy at the end of each shift. Assists in maintaining the sanitation, security, and safety of the warehouse. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma required. 3-5 years of related experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control in a 3PL or Fulfillment setting. Organized thought process with high attention to detail with ability to produce accurate results, effective prioritization to meet scheduled deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Proven time management skills with the ability to respond to time-critical issues and work overtime as needed to meet deadlines. Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player. Professional attitude and the ability to represent the company with integrity. Ability to adapt to change in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math. Comfortable using a PC with computer software packages, including Microsoft Office and communicating effectively via email and phone is frequently required.
