Job Summary

Supports the execution of a product strategy by performing research and analysis. Responsibilities

Ownership of product strategy in support of one or more products or services built on Equinix Fabric. Build knowledge of common Equinix Fabric use cases working with product marketing to communicate both internally and externally. Partner with Solutions Architects and Sales to meet with interested customers to understand their network business needs to help shape the direction of our networking services. Partner with Solutions Architects and Sales to meet with interested customers to help communicate the overall value of Fabric and Fabric Cloud Router services. Develop, drive and communicate the roadmap for a specific product or set of products. Participate in crafting a shared vision and clear goals and OKRs for the product(s) which you are responsible for. Partner with the Network Infrastructure and Architecture team in advancing network infrastructure products and features such as encryption, Network as a Service (NaaS), Observability, and AI capabilities. Partner with UX, solution architects, and engineering to ideate solutions, placing a premium on user experience. Validate ideas with customers before, during, and after development. Manage the backlog: Prioritize critical features based on analysis of the business opportunity vs level of effort. Define metrics that will be used to inform product success and help drive user experience improvements. Perform pricing evaluation and coordinate price changes. Collaborate with product engineering, network architects, network deployment, and service delivery teams in the rollout of new offers, releases, and markets. Design product training curriculum; participate in cross-functional training and meetings. Run your business: analyze and optimize value chain activities; establish and monitor critical metrics; implement course corrections as needed. Provide customer and partner briefings and serve as an evangelist for Equinix Fabric. Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a software defined network infrastructure product management role or a combination of 1 years of product management experience and experience in network engineering/architecture. Bachelor's degree in CS, EE or relevant field of study; MBA preferred. Experienced building end to end software for Cloud Networks, virtualization, networking, etc. Experience in API lifecycle management. Knowledge of data center digital infrastructure capabilities and the value of interconnection within this ecosystem. Passion for learning & mastering new technologies and bringing them together to build end-to-end solutions that meet customer needs. Baseline understanding of networking concepts or at least comfortable in quickly learning. Baseline understanding of how to approach figuring out customer needs. Solid organization skills. Good people skills. Familiarity with product development cycles. Solid understanding of Networking, particularly WAN networking. Familiarity with at least one Product development framework. Knowledge of tools like Mira, Aha!, etc. Ability to build a business plan as well as technical skills. Key Responsibilities

Research customer needs. Understand how competitors, markets, and customers are evolving. Working with engineering to define requirements, track progress, prioritize, etc. Approximately 10-15% travel for external or internal meetings and industry conferences. The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $122,000 to $184,000 per year California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $114,000 to $170,000 per year Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $103,000 to $155,000 per year Denver, Colorado
