As a vital member within our Northwest Bridge Team, you'll have the opportunity to work on structural transportation projects throughout the Northwest, and nationwide. Our transportation projects include traditional design-bid-build projects as well as alternative delivery such as Design-Build (DB), Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), Construction Manager At Risk (CMAR), and Public-Private-Partnership (P3) projects. Working with our talented team, you'll work to solve problems and challenges in a team environment where everyone is valued. As a Senior Bridge Project Manager, you will lead bridge projects of various sizes and complexity, lead teams of bridge engineers and CADD staff, support/mentor junior engineers, support strategic growth initiatives, develop our local and regional transportation practices, and help win new work. Here's What You'll Need
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering PE registration Washington or the possibility of obtaining Washington PE registration within one year At least 15 years' civil engineering experience including substantial bridge design and construction Experience on large, multidisciplinary bridge design projects Experience with various structure types including precast concrete girder bridges, steel bridges, bridge seismic retrofit and rehabilitations, and bridge load rating. Project management and leadership experience Strong written and oral communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of technical standards for bridge design, construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance including AASHTO LRFD and state-specific guidelines Familiarity with FHWA requirements and guidelines Ability and willingness to travel on occasion Ideally, You'll Also Have: Master's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering Existing relationships with WSDOT, Sound Transit, City of Seattle and/or other relevant agencies Multi-faceted experience including public sector project experience At least 20 years' bridge and structural engineering experience including substantial bridge seismic design/retrofit and construction as well as leadership of design teams Posted Salary Range
The base salary range for this position is $12,550.00 to $219,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
