Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Strategic Sourcing Buyer to shape and drive organizational wide sourcing initiatives for direct materials. This high-impact role requires a visionary contributor who thrives on supplier innovation, fosters industry-leading partnerships, and delivers transformative solutions that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance corporate profitability. You'll also be responsible for identifying and managing risk, leading cost analysis and optimization efforts, and delivering clear, data-driven insights to senior leadershipempowering informed decisions and driving continuous improvement across the organization. Lead strategic sourcing efforts as an individual contributor and develop category strategies for direct materials. Build and manage supplier relationships, ensuring alignment, performance, and innovation. Conduct cost analysis, manage risk, and support capital and new product development projects. Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline sourcing processes and eliminate inefficiencies. Provide data-driven reporting and insights to senior leadership for high-impact decision-making. What you need to be considered for the role: 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or other related field required. Minimum of three (3) years of broad experience in Purchasing/Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or related field required. Broad exposure to automated Purchasing systems in an integrated ERP environment. Excellent "win-win" negotiation skillset and mindset. Must be able to travel between Grande facilities and suppliers 20% of the time. Preferred: ISM or APICS Certifications (CPSM or CSCP) highly desired. Active participation in the Institute of Supply Chain Management, or other professional organization linked to procurement or Supply Chain Management.
