Medicare Coverage Analyst
The Medicare Coverage Analyst is responsible for reviewing clinical trial protocols and budgets to determine what costs Medicare will cover and what will be billed to the research sponsor. This role requires analyzing billing details to ensure compliance with federal rules, preventing billing errors, and supporting accurate budgeting for research studies. The analyst also collaborates with research and finance teams to maintain up-to-date documentation and provides guidance on coverage policies. Essential Skills Proficiency in Medicare policies and billing. Experience with clinical trial protocols and budgeting. Strong analytical skills to evaluate billing details. Ability to ensure compliance with federal regulations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 3 years of experience in medical billing and research clinical trials. Work Environment This position involves working closely with research and finance teams in a collaborative environment. The role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of Medicare policies and research clinical trials. The work setting encourages accurate documentation and compliance with federal guidelines. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $64.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
