Service Line Coordinator
The Service Line Coordinator assumes responsibility and accountability for the coordination and implementation of patient care services within the Operating Room at the direction of the Specialty Clinical Director and Clinical Director. Develops and monitors efficient daily workflows for assigned service lines (Coordinates resources to support the patient care team to meet the needs of the customers and to achieve departmental objectives. Ensures the delivery of patient care through the coordination of customer services and service lines management within the Operating Room. Experience Required
A minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Education Requirements
Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists; OR Successful completion of an appropriate training program for Surgical Technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United Dates Public Health Service Commissioned Corps; OR Equivalent experience
this applies to individuals that have been employed (as outlined in the Experience section below) as a Surgical Technologists prior to the effective date of NJSA 26:2H
12.62 (i.e. 12/11/2011). License/Certification Requirements
Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g. NCCT
National Center for Competency Testing, etc.) within 18 months of acceptance of Service Line Coordinator Role. Special Requirements
Must annually complete 15 hours of continuing education to remain qualified to practice as a Surgical Technologist in NJ. Salary
USD $32.00 - USD $50.00
