Whippany, NJ Position Summary: The client is seeking reliable and energetic Packer/Pickers to join their Distribution Center team. This role is responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The position involves lifting products weighing 20 to 50 lbs, so candidates must be physically capable of performing manual labor throughout their shift. Key Responsibilities: Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on pick tickets or RF scanner instructions. Pack items securely in boxes or containers according to packing guidelines. Label and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and quality standards. Move, stack, and organize inventory within the warehouse as required. Maintain clean and safe work areas, following warehouse safety procedures. Perform quality checks to identify and report damaged or missing products. Assist in unloading, receiving, and stocking incoming shipments when needed. Meet productivity and accuracy targets set by supervisors. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions. Job Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience is a plus but not required. Ability to consistently lift, carry, push, or pull 20-50 lbs throughout the shift. Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Availability to work flexible shifts, including overtime as needed. Work Environment: Warehouse environment with varying temperatures. PPE (e.g., gloves, safety shoes) may be required depending on duties.
