Financial Accountant
Tommy's is looking for a Financial Accountant to perform accurate and expedient daily accounting functions for our corporately operated retail car wash stores (Tommy's Express Operations, aka "TXO"), consisting of 18 locations across 4 states with the expectation of steady growth. Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes: Bachelor's degree in Accounting 2-5 years of public accounting experience preferred Broad knowledge and exposure to all transactional accounting work through financial preparation Advanced knowledge working with QuickBooks online Technical savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and across various departments Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workload Highly adaptable with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; ability to exercise good judgment and make sound data-backed decisions High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation Views customer care as high priority; exhibits a positive can-do attitude Displays a strong initiative and drive to identify gaps and fill them Works well within a team environment Work Environment and Physical Demands: This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation. To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to: Ability to work and commute in all weather conditions Frequently stand and work in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking Able to move about inside the office to access standard office equipment, etc. Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, alternating between sitting and standing Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as; keyboard, copy machine and printer Able to effectively communicate, listen, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers Ability to move and lift up to 30 pounds Overview of Tommy Enterprises Companies: Tommy's Express is a national franchise for outstanding car washes and car care services.
