Clean Room Assembler

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling high-quality medical devices while working within a controlled, clean, sterile, medical-grade manufacturing area. Responsibilities

Process polymer materials to compose, test, or apply on medical devices per approved manufacturing procedures. Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices in accordance with approved manufacturing procedures. Perform in-process quality checks on subassemblies and finished products. Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and testing equipment. Participate in line meetings as needed. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements. Maintain clean room integrity by using proper attire and adhering to clean room environment practices and procedures. Maintain accurate records/documentation related to quality, work in progress, test results, labor, and special projects. Apply workstation practices and line clearance in daily activities. Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, and FDA regulations. Essential Skills

Attention to detail and hand dexterity. Ability to learn and be trained on new skills and equipment. Experience with clean room, medical device, or manufacturing preferred. Experience in mechanical assembly and machine operation. Microscope experience is preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work with small plastic and metal components. Capability to maintain production levels in a high-volume manufacturing setting. Why Work Here?

The work environment is a cleanroom setting where wearing PPE all day is required. The dress code is business casual, with restrictions on jewelry, makeup, eyelash extensions, fake nails, and perfumes or colognes. The first shift operates from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, and the second shift from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm. A comprehensive 5-7 week training period is provided. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danvers, Massachusetts. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
