Position Title
Imaging Informatics Engineer Job Description
The Rad-IS Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and improving Rad-IS Informatics infrastructure at a highly technical level. This position will require excellent knowledge of both hardware and software configuration and troubleshooting. It is imperative that this individual have a good knowledge of Active Directory, Windows 10, and Rad-IS Informatics clinical applications. This position will also be responsible for technical projects as assigned. Depending on the level of assigned responsibility for various systems, must provide first, second, and third level support for all technical issues related to Rad-IS Informatics workstations as an escalation point in the identification and correction of moderately complex to complex computing systems and applications problems, including interaction with other support staff or outside vendors. Independently determine approaches and strategies. Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems, systems engineering, computer science, in a related field, or equivalent experience is required. Experience: Three years of user support is required. Two years of experience with SQL database/server/systems administration is required. Experience with DICOM and HL7 is preferred. Certification/Licensure: Industry certifications are required or to be enrolled within 12 months. Other Qualifications: Ability to execute assignments with minimum oversight. Ability to solve problems under time pressure with frequent interruptions.
