Manager Of Logistics
This role is based at our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You'll work onsite from Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. About The Role
As Manager of Logistics, you will manage a team of logistics professionals responsible for optimizing supply chain processes and operations and overseeing efficiency, vendor relations and transportation management. What You'll Do
Manage operational requirements, costs and service to ensure the timely movement of Returns Receive and resolve day to day operational issues Identify and implement new, world-class supply chain capabilities Ensure all merchandise moves through supply chain within the time and cost standards established Standardize business metric reporting to measure performance and enhance operations Track customers' changing needs and adjust the team's focus to provide value Identify project opportunities that deliver the highest value Identify and implement improvement programs focusing on cost control and reduction, transit time improvement and process improvement Achieve goals on time and within budget Constantly strive to improve the quality and efficiency of existing operations by implementing cost effective operational solutions Develop, negotiate and maintain contracts for third-party service providers Implement and manage vendor scorecards and use them to improve vendor performance Track the performance of third-party service providers and lead external benchmarking Analyze and summarize compliance and performance data to facilitate timely issue resolution and long term solutions Manage direct reports, systems and projects to achieve unit goals per Kohl's policies, SLAs and practices Prepare and analyze unit plans and reports Provide leadership by exhibiting influence and expertise, driving results Create an effective work environment by developing a common vision, setting clear objectives, expecting teamwork, recognizing outstanding performance and maintaining open communications Develop staff through coaching, performance feedback, effective performance assessments, and establishing performance and development plans Additional tasks may be assigned Addendums
Manage third-party relationships with key partners Manage reporting and key SLAs to meet contractual obligations Develop key relationships to improve carrier performance Identify inefficiency and drive change to improve performance Effectively communicate results and performance on regular cadence Leverage relationships to improve system support and outcomes What Skills You Have
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field 5 years Global Supply Chain Management or related experience Prior management experience Strong negotiation and organizational skills
